If we analyze our body on a chemical level, we are a set of chemical elements arranged in an orderly manner. Most of our body consists of H20, which means two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen or, more simply, water. The water that we incorporate into our organism penetrates the internal environment and, so to speak, sweeps away toxic substances, eliminating them from our body.
Prehistoric man knew that both water and fire were vital elements for his subsistence. Today, we’re not so clear about everything. Many times we replace fresh, pure tap water with sodas or alcoholic beverages, or we believe that several cups of full tea or coffee replace it.
The role of water inside the body is really important. One part of it will become part of our cells and tissues, another part will be located in the intercellular spaces and the rest will travel through the entire bloodstream and its fluids.
How does water cleanse our body?
We will try to explain it simply because it is something exciting, but, above all, because this first part of the book is dedicated especially to knowing our body. Once we know what water does in our body, it will not be necessary for anyone to force us to drink those glasses of water that are really indispensable to be healthy… and with good weight.
Water begins to assimilate as soon as it is taken and enters the bloodstream. Through veins, it reaches the liver, that old friend who works constantly for us. The liver filters the water into the bloodstream again. And there, the circulatory system receives a veritable bucket of water that makes the blood liquefy. At this point, the brain has already been warned and, so that the blood retains its density, it gives the order to eliminate excess water. Through complex physiological mechanisms, the blood is depositing the water it has left in the tissues. At the same time, the tissues send the water to the kidneys so that it can be eliminated but… and this is very important… they pour the toxic substances that they have accumulated in that water.
The more water circulating in the tissues, the more toxins are eliminated through urine.
If we add that the common water or mineral contains mineral salts essential to the body’s chemical processes, such as sodium, potassium, lithium, ammonia, magnesium, strontium, calcium, iron, chlorine, manganese, fluorine, iodine, bromine, sulphur and others, we should not be in any doubt. Drink plenty of water every day to keep your body’s machinery in top condition.
Water hides everywhere. Some foods provide it in abundance and others in scarce supply. Just to demonstrate this we include the following table, but it is important to emphasize that, beyond eating high water meals, water alone is irreplaceable and drinking 1 to 1.5 liters per day will ensure a really important release of toxins.
